Punahou Fund: Unrestricted Support

One of the hallmarks of a Punahou education is paying forward the gift of learning. The Punahou Fund is one of the vehicles through which the generosity of the School’s community is realized.

Unrestricted annual giving through the Punahou Fund is one of the most important sources of non-tuition support for students and teachers. These gifts, which come from alumni, faculty, staff and families, allow the School to think expansively and ambitiously when planning for future programs, without influencing tuition costs.

The School has thrived for 178 years thanks to the generosity of generations who came before us – people who believed in sustaining the quality of education that takes place here.

Enjoy this video highlighting just some of the many opportunities supported by gifts to the Punahou Fund.

“I support the Punahou Fund because it’s been amazing to watch my son grow, not just physically, but also emotionally and intellectually. Punahou is a great academic education – the kids come out well-rounded, they can relate to people and they become stewards of their community.”

“I support the Punahou Fund because I’m grateful for the experience I had; I think the whole mindset at Punahou is beautiful, and I’d love to be a student now.”
