A group of Punahou and St. Andrew’s students and chaperones participated in the Oakridge Student Global Leadership Institute (SGLI) in Hyderabad, India this past summer. Oakridge SGLI, an offshoot of Punahou’s annual summer institute, brings international students together to share perspectives on global issues such as peace, conservation and social conscious. Students return home with plans for community-based projects that seek to continue their exploration of specific issues. This summer’s SGLI focused on courage in its many forms: physical, professional and moral.
