Ku'u Punahou Inspires Community Art Project

Ku'u Punahou, or "my Punahou," helped to inspire the theme of a mural painted by students from kindergarten through grade 12 this past spring. Under the guidance of renowned street artist and Punahou parent, John "Prime" Hina, the mural depicts the story of the freshwater spring Ka Punahou as central to the identity of the School, as well as incorporating the thoughts of individual students about what rejuvenates and renews them.
